Reelty — Changelog
What's new in Reelty, the property video feed.
[2026-06-19]
- Fixed: the Share button now works. The bottom info panel was invisibly covering the lower half of the Share button and swallowing the tap, so nothing happened. The panel is now click‑through except for its own buttons, so Share (and the other rail buttons) respond reliably. Tapping Share opens a sheet with Share to apps… (your phone's native share), WhatsApp, and Copy link — all carrying the agent's referral link.
- Listing photos now load on the feed. Bundled property photos and agent avatars were 404ing (so the feed showed black) — the app's
marketing/ media is now served properly (with video seek support). Photos, avatars and the property tour video all show.
- Pull down at the top of the feed to refresh. A pull‑to‑refresh indicator appears when you drag down from the first listing; release past the line and the feed reloads.
- Separate agent commission for sales and bookings. Settings → Commission & payouts now has two rates: agent commission on sales (default 5% of the full sale amount) and agent commission on bookings (default 50% of the inspection fee). They're set independently. The per-agent override on an agent's profile now applies to their sale commission.
- Feed reel upgrades. The middle play button is smaller and sits higher; listing text is more compact (the description now shows 2 lines, tap to expand) so it blocks less of the photo. Tapping a video now plays it with sound and full video controls (pause, scrub, rewind, volume, fullscreen) — the ✕ in the corner brings the listing back. Tapping a photo now hides the text so you see the picture full-screen, and you can swipe left/right through the photos. Save, Share and all the buttons now work properly on phones — and a Saved pill (top-right) opens your saved listings so you can jump back to any you hearted. Share links always carry the agent's referral tag, and on phones without a native share sheet you get WhatsApp + Copy options.
- The feed plays like a real reel. Each video listing now shows a big play button in the middle. Tap it (or the video) and the tour plays full-screen — all the overlays slide away so the property fills the screen; tap again to pause and bring back the price, details and buttons. The mute/volume toggle works, and the Share button now opens your phone's share sheet so buyers can send a listing straight to WhatsApp or anywhere else.

- Easier "Add booking". The form now lets you start from an existing customer (pick them and their name and phone fill in automatically, still editable) or type a new buyer. The inspection slot uses a real date picker plus a tidy time dropdown (9 AM, 11 AM, 1, 3, 5 PM). The listing picker is now searchable by area and price too — not just the name — and only shows live listings.
- Searchable listing picker on New deal. The deal's listing picker now shows each listing as title · area · price, so you can find one by location or price, not just by typing the exact name.
- Your own status names and stages show everywhere. Booking status chips, row tags and detail panels now use the custom labels you set for Paid/Approved/Completed/Cancelled, and the New-deal stage list uses your customised deal stages.
- Mobile filter chips no longer get cut off. On phones the booking and deal status filters now scroll sideways cleanly so the last chip (e.g. "Cancelled") is always reachable.
- Clearer Agents screen. Commission is now shown and entered as a plain percentage (e.g. 15%) instead of a technical "basis points" number — leave the field blank to use your default. Cleaned up the agent detail panel so a referred agent shows as a tidy card with their name, phone and wallet. And "downline" is gone — it now simply reads Agents you referred everywhere (on the agent's own Referrals page too).
- Tidier Inbox. Buyer messages now read as clean cards — the buyer's name and the time sit on one neat line (no more the date shoving the phone number around), the phone number is a tappable call link, and the full message wraps naturally below. Fixed the filter too: All now correctly shows every message (including ones you've marked read), and the message list refreshes after you mark a message read or close it, so it moves to the right filter instead of disappearing. Added a Read filter alongside All / New / Closed.
- Simpler sale closing. When you close a sale you now just enter the final sale amount — Reelty works out the rest and shows it to you on the spot: the platform's share, your agent's commission, and what your company keeps. (The platform's share is a percentage of the full sale amount.)
- Push notifications. You and your agents now get a phone notification the moment something happens — a new inspection booking, a new buyer message, or (for agents) when they've earned a commission. Turn it on by allowing notifications when your browser asks. Plus a clear "you have N bookings/messages waiting" banner on your dashboard the moment you open it.
- Added a Pay agents instantly option (Settings → Commission & payouts): transfer an agent's commission to their bank the moment a deal completes, instead of the weekly payout.
- Listings on mobile now show an icon for their type (house, land or rental).
- Brought the Deals, Inbox, Customers and customer profile screens into the native mobile app — swipeable status filters, big tappable deal and message cards, a phone-optimised deal page (stage selector, installment schedule with mark-paid/remove, activity timeline, and a bottom-sheet "Close sale" with the ₦0-commission reason prompt), a debounced customer search, and a full mobile customer profile (portal PIN issue/reset, document vault upload/share/delete, notes and issue resolution) — instead of the desktop page squeezed onto a small screen.
- Extended the native mobile app to the owner screens — Agents, Payouts, Reports, Activity and Branches now each have a phone-optimised layout (search bars, big tappable rows, money heroes and stat tiles, swipeable activity filters with load-more, and bottom-sheet detail/edit forms) instead of the desktop page squeezed onto a small screen.
- Added native mobile screens for the dashboard, listings, the listing editor and bookings — big tappable cards, a "money in today" hero, quick actions, swipeable status filters, and full-screen sheets for booking actions — so running the business from a phone feels like a real app instead of a shrunken web page.
- Rebuilt the customer portal: a polished phone-and-PIN sign-in page ("Your purchase, tracked") and a native-feeling dashboard with Home, Payments, Documents and Account tabs. Customers now follow each deal's stage and timeline, see their installment schedule with paid/scheduled badges and totals, download shared documents, read messages from your office, sign out, and raise a support request — all from one screen.
- Rebuilt the Reports screen for the property business: money in, booking fees, deals closed, commission earned, company keep and paid-to-agents tiles, a clear plain-language platform-fee card (charged vs pending), a top-agents table, and from/to date filters that default to the last 30 days.
- Rebuilt Settings with grouped sections — business details and default inspection fee, commission splits, Paystack payments, push/SMS notifications, and customer/agent portal options. Secret keys stay masked and are preserved if left untouched.
- Refreshed the Activity log with property, booking, deal, agent and payout events, and renamed "Locations" to "Branches" throughout the Branches screen.
- Rebuilt the Customers list with search, deal counts and active-deal badges.
- Added a full customer profile page: portal PIN issue/reset, a document vault (upload, share/hide and delete files), customer-visible and internal notes, a deals list, and issue resolution.
- Added the Agents screen: search agents, view wallets, downlines and shareable referral signup links, add agents, reset PINs, suspend/activate, set bank accounts and edit commission splits.
- Added the Payouts console: total-owed and minimum-payout tiles, one-tap "Pay now" and manual cash payouts per agent, a weekly sweep, and recent payout history.
