Cookie Policy

This explains the cookies and similar storage Pancho uses, why, and how you can control them. We keep it lean — we don't run advertising or cross-site tracking.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a related browser feature that holds small preferences on your device. Both let a site remember things between page loads. Some are essential for a site to work at all; others are optional.
What we use
- Session cookie (essential): keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you'd have to log in on every click.
- CSRF-token cookie (essential): protects your forms from cross-site request forgery so someone else can't submit actions as you.
- Local-storage preferences (optional): small settings saved on your device — your chosen light/dark theme, the last app you opened, and whether you've dismissed the "install app" or cookie prompts. These never leave your device.
Why we use them
Purely to make the platform work and to remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we don't run third-party analytics or tracking pixels that follow you around the web.
Third-party cookies
When you pay, our payment providers (Stripe for USD, Paystack for NGN) may set their own cookies on their checkout to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies, not ours.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Note that blocking the essential cookies above will break sign-in and form submissions — the platform won't work without them. Optional preferences simply reset to their defaults if you clear them.
Changes
If our use of cookies changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
